How Campaign mode is working?

Hi,

 

Most of time I'm trying to play online, but each time I want to play single player and launch the campaign mode, I don't understand. Do I have a story to follow or I just choose the mission I want in both faction?

 

Also, what's the little icon that look like a target? When I finished one of them, it turned into a small check mark.

I never played the vanilla campaign just the Blazing Stepe wich is great.

Hi!

 

It's pretty simple. Just pick the airfield you wan't to use, choose a plane and finally the mission type. Generator will then make a mission for you.

 

Little target icon means handmade mission, one for each side in every chapter.
