One thing I've noticed with Oculus is that my gunsight has seemed to get dimmer and a bit less clear. Is there any adjustment possible to boost it?Right now I am more aware of the streamof tracers to hit my target that the gunsight. Also how much does the eye adjustment slider affect this clarity issue? :salute:

Not that I am aware of.

I personally find the gunsight a little too large, and I too depend more on watching my tracers than anything.

If you have a Rift, you might try running with ASW disabled if you have not yet to see if that helps any.

Eye adjustment slider (IPD) certainly helps to get optimum viewing. If you did not go through the process of adjusting that during setup whilst looking at the vertical bars, I would suggest doing so - believe there is an area in the settings tab on the Oculus Home monitor screen that will allow you to do so, or in the Rift settings menu itself.

The thing with most of the gunsights is that they are designed to be barely noticeable until you are looking right through them at the right distance. Apparently the theory is that they come into focus if you are actually looking at your target but through the sight at approximately the correct distance from the target. Maybe I misunderstood when this was explained to me, but that's what I understand. this is apparently also the case for why some of them are offset so that the dominant right eye looks through it at the target.
