I am unaware that damage to static objects (bridges, etc.) is recorded in mission logs.  Am I wrong?  Is there any way to get information on damage to satic objects in a mission?

I am unaware to. I do it manually

Also never seen it in RoF MP or SP, so I am highly expectical about been possible.

P.S. It would be great if possible!!

Create the linked entity and assign a country other than neutral to the static block. For some reason, damage to neutral static blocks is not shown in logs.

Temuri, silly IT naive question here: Its possible then to create a dynamic campaign where objects keep destroyed in following missions?? or Pat would have to do some of his coding magic to make it work??

IIRC, you can set the damage for the static blocks in the mission editor somehow, so I guess it would be doable.

Edit: now that my sleepy mind understood the question better, I'm not so sure it could be done without some scripting/coding.

May it be possible with scripting (dont know a thing about that) but still I see a "problem". Its has to be an entitie object, which means that aleatory objects destroyed by players wont show up. It will speed up the building procees if we use scripting but still wont be a true dynamic world, since I dont think a mission with all objects as entities will work. Am I right??

Have to check if the log will contain entries for blocks with country set to either Russian or German without the block having an entity. I'm not sure, but it might be you don't need entities if the country is set to something else than neutral.

I just have check it on ME, for me there is no way to change the country of a static block (truck or parked plane) with out making them entities. Im missing something.

You could change it by editing the mission file with a text editor. Basically that's what you'd be doing with scripts.

Ohh ok, I got it now. Sorry for my incompetence hehehe.

Will investigate further if the scripts can be added to scripted campaings..

In the ME: add entity, set country, delete entity. The country sticks.

Why does that sound random and accidental? :)  But thanks for the tips
