Steam key question

Howdy,

 

If you have a Steam game you don't want anymore, can you simply uninstall and send someone else the key?

 

I've looked at the Steam rules and I'm not clear on the issue.

Unfortunately you can´t.

Once activated the title stays on your account forever - or at least till you decide to delete the license but then it´s gone for good.
