Russian Ace

I added Arkady Fedorovitch Kovacevich of 27 IAP to PWCG. He will leave for 9 GvIAP in December 42.

[Put the textfile into PWCGCampaign\BoSData\Input\Aces. The picture has to be saved in PWCGCampaign\BoSData\Input\Aces\Pictures]

I am not yet completely happy with him... First: He needs to get his Pilot Badge. :D Moreover I know, that Kovacevich left for the Academy in October 1944. I wanted to put 'Leave', but got an error. So maybe you can answer a few questions to me:

 

1) How is 'Leave' to be handled? Does this mean, the ace leaves starting with this date? Or does he leave until this date. And if it is start: Does the tag demand for another date then? Like 'End' or a new assignment?

2) Does 'End' mean KIA? Or would it be ok in this case as well?

 

P.S.: I'll probably do 22 more aces. :D

Leave basically means inactive and not assigned to a squadron.  Aces on leave will not be in your squadron nor will they be used in missions.

End means career over.  KIA, Captured, whatever - but not inactive.  "End" during the campaign will cause the "Great Ace Lost" newspaper report to show up.
