GridiroN Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 (edited) This is a reel of a couple confrontations (with light commentary) I've had over the last 2 days. I think I'm getting more dangerous as a pilot, but looking to see if anyone can see any bad habits or mistakes I'm making...of course I've put hundreds of hours into Germany...not nearly as much for Russia. I've posted before with my BF109 play and I feel like the advice you guys gave me really elevated my play. Any advice is greatly appreciated guys. Edited July 29, 2017 by GridiroN
216th_Lucas_From_Hell Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 Look around you more, one six check in 1 minute and a half is exactly how people get shot down. Get used to flying without looking forwards, spend cruising looking all over the place, including banking to check blind zones below and behind, and in combat try to look about as well. Getting fixated on a target is an easy way for an uninvited guest to pick you off. Besides that, nice flying GridiroN!
Jade_Monkey Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 I'm not sure the aiming should be that shaky on the Yak, maybe you need to recalibrate the controls.

Heh, I actually did get shot down by a 190 in between one of these clips because I was chasing another 190 :/. That is a habit I've gotten better at, but still not perfect. Also, thanks man. I shouldn't have used the word "shaky", it's more like the bullets don't go where I'd assume they would as opposed to a 109 where they do, and it's mostly the 20mm shvak, the 50cal is fine. In the last clip when I was coming up behind a 109 at altitude and shot him in the back, my rounds landed higher than I assumed they would. It's hard to describe, but perhaps it's my convergence, or just me needing to work on my aim. Edited July 29, 2017 by GridiroN
