Copying Over Control and View Settings To New Computer

Hey guys, I need some help.

 

After 4 years, I have finally upgraded my laptop.

 

I need to know which files to copy from my current system to the new one, so that my Control Schemes, Keyboard Inputs, and In-Cockpit View Positions are the same when I get the game up and running.

 

If anybody would be able to tell me which folders I need to copy over, I would appreciate it very much.

Without the exclamation point.

Data/input to be more precise.

Save a copy of that file somewhere else on your hard drive too.

Also Luascripts I think.

 

And don't forget to copy the Missions (if you have downloaded any single player missions or campaigns) and Skins folders too.

Okay, and where are my views saved?

 

Last time I reinstalled I copied over inputs, but all my views were still reset.

 

Is there another folder for these?

I believe it is in the luascripts folder -  data/luaScripts/snapviews

 

Seemed to work for me when i saved and reinstalled.

You can also just copy the entire game folder (saves downloading)

and move it to another install from windows 7 to 10
or move it and install it on 10 different PC's just copy it from usb stick and run Redist software.
then run game.
