=TBAS=Sshadow14 Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 (edited) Returning to base after a rather violent sortie that left half my gunners dead & left engine shot out.On Long final i realize my right engine is now miss firing and creating lots of nasty yawing moments i don't need on final specially now i also find out my RH main gear failed to lower and lock into place.I setup for a high approach and steeper(faster) Glide to touchdown,So i can Shutdown #2 feather it and clean up planes trim for a 220kph touch down with minimal flaps.Why so fast, so its easier to control the damaged left wing and keep the right wing off the ground as long as possible to prevent high speed ground loop and full lose of control..EnjoyNote: Is that the sound of Airflow Seperating from top of wing at the final seconds before touch down as i enter ground effect?
