hey guys,

 

today, i lived the strangest bug i've seen in IL2 since i started playing...

yesterday, i accomplished a mission in BoS campaign with 288xp pts earned, i gain my lvl5 there.

today (right now), i end a superbe mission with 352xp pts earned !

and in the countdown (update of mission results, i mean)................... i see these points took off until 0 xp & rank niv0 !!!!

 

WHAT THE HELL IS THAT DUMP THING ???!?

i comeback to main menu, and reselect campaigns (not scripted campaigns, usual ones)...

and there, its like i never did this last mission and never earned these last 352xp points !!!!

(i get back to 2348/3700pts, what i had yesterday when i stopped playing)

 

how is that possible ?

...I DEMAND my last points, i deserve them ! lol

 

note: these both missions were done with: Me109F4 on BoS campaign for the 288xp (1st), and with Me109F2 on BoM campaign now, for 352xp mission (2nd).

here are screenies to proove it: first, yesterday's victory (dates of files can proove it for both) ;

second, victory of now with these 352pts...

 

can someone explain me what the hell is that ?

it was first time i earned more of 350xp points in one mission, u can imagine my face when i have seen countdown go back and take off all my points ! LOL

damn softwares...(!) thats not good for nerves, really.

 

but, seriously, can i get back my points plzz ???

update: and when i reload the game, i am still at 28missions done. this last one (352pts) should be my 29th, i am definatly sure of that.

 

is it possible the daily update of the server/site happens at 5am (brussels gmt) ?

...and i get very unlucky to finish at the exact second when coutdowns was applied or something like that, wich totally broken my results here of 352pts ?

idk, its just a theory, i really dont understand what happened...

 

thats deeply unfair, after a so perfect mission, proud of result and satisfaction, etc... being bored by such bug is really FRUSTRATING ! lol :(

i hope u can update my datas and give me back my scores, i really dont deserve to waste these ones. (if its possible, i hope so ?)

 

correction: little confusion between ground kills & missions done. its correctly recorded as my 29th mission & as 12th mission succeed.

but then, its even more strange. the 29th mission has been registred as done/accomplished, mission has been registred as a success, but all kills from and all these 352xp pts simply dissapeard ?

thats WOW... how hell is that possible ?!

my last hope to see the bug solved by itself after next mission is gone... it failed !

i ended next mission (same place on map, Dugino of BoM campaign with Me109F2, but escort bombers now instead of ground attack last time),

i received here my 288xp pts for this last try, they get added to previous countdown 2348/3700pts as they must be and without issue, but it hasnt remember my 352pts lost in the addition from bug of this morning at 5am, on last mission...

i assume the server or the site was in daily update or something like that when i ended my mission, its the only explanation i see...

 

@devs, plz, can u give me back my 352 missing xp points directly on account by yourself ?

they are fairly deserved, i promess, and it seems now the bug will not be solved by itself... (i hoped make a new mission could unlock last missing points missing, but it failed !)

 

i cant do more to try to recover from this bad experiment by myself, now i need ur help to repare and give me back what the game stole me...

 

can u do please ?

update: i add the screenie of this 3rd mission, it changes nothing to proove the bug of 5am, but its coherent.

1) 2348/3700pts already earned yesterday after first of these 3 missions, on Me109F4 (where i get 288pts)

2) the bug, missing 352xp pts on the mission at 5am.

3) and now, 288xp pts earned more and normaly registred in countdown... so, 2348 + 288 = 2636/3700 registred after this 3rd mission, thats what i have ingame actually... its logical: the 352xp are "gone".

i did few hours after have written this thread, in fact...

the contact i had asked me screenie of my stats of before the bug. :/

...how could i have anticipated that bug and have one ? same for those i shown here, its just luck i took them & had them to show, i dont take screenies all time & always from before & after, ofc. i could have reported the bug without any prooves too.

but also, seemed me more easy and obvious to see details of each detailed players stats from inside before, may i was wrong...? idk exactly... (seems not enough and not so obvious from their side ?)

 

and so next, the contact asked me screenies of the mission result itself (wich is here and linked as answer to them too) and a screenie of after bug stats too... (i gave what i had, but nothing flagrant at the exact moment unfortunatly, same as issue to have a needed screenie from before the bug happens ! so, not sure it was enough, i explained in detail).

 

...and since, 3days later, i still wait an answer... :/ ^^ lol

 

i appreciated moderalty this story since, tbh... but its not really important. ^^

except unfair feeling on the moment itself (& little nerf crisis coz bug stolen my points there ! lol), since, i took distance from (its not a drama)... 350xp pts will be fastly get back next, and i move on, i did others missions without issue after.

if they answer me, fine, if not i'll do with (no choice anyway, i dont see what i could do more). :/

 

but since am bit nervous when the game update my stats lol.

...never get again fortunatly, still dont know why it happened.

...and a second time, thats crazy ! :(

 

but this time i get the time to take all necessary screenies, and it happened at 12am, so it can not be linked with plausible daily update of website or something close as i thought first time... its trully a bug in countdown.

 

please, if u live similar xps, do not hesitate to mention it too.

with true impact in solo playtime (for player stats, in solo campaigns) end missions xp points earned have to move on, its really a bug devs must try to fix (and understand why it happens).

i assume i must not be the only one to have...? :/

 

its sooo annoying, am really upset by this after 2 times the same xp !

here are pictures of second time, exactly same phenomenon:

- on the moment, u loose all xp and all ranks u reached before.

- after get out campaign menu and get back in, u comeback to previous stats u had before play this last succefull mission (and bugging at countdown update just next)...

and there, sorties & missions succeed are correctly updated.

- but xp earned on this last mission (for global ranking and for concerned plane u used during mission)

or air & ground kills earned in... are completly gone !

 

and same after reloading, nothing to do against it from player's side.

 

PLEASE Devs, fix this, its necessary !

 

UPDATE: and there is an other, but less important, bug (though i think both are linked by a way or an other):

my countdown of hours flown get back to 0h00 when i reached 7th level yesterday (before this 2nd "countdown bug" of now, so).

but that "secondary/less boring" bug happens only inside game, when i check my stats from IL2 website account, hours are normaly registred there... (25h flown as it is, its coherent)

 

there is trully something wrong with my account and i dont understand what/why, is it linked with normal server bugs to fix other players have experimented too !?!? 

what i am sure is these both bugs already stole me a lot of stat points:

352+272xp (1st, 352xp also on Me109F2 ; 2nd, 272xp here, on Me109G2).

plus 2 air kills and 8 ground kills together (1+7 first time, 1+1 second time)...

that start to be much for 2 full missions fairly accomplished !

 

and last info (not sure i already given but as it seems necessary to mention it), i play on MSi GT70 with Windows8.1.

and also, the bug happened in both classic campaigns, not juste one (1st time in BoM with 109F2, this time in BoS with 109G2).

i was experienced the same when i played BoS SP months ago. I was just wondering why i didnt had my exp, when i shot down "that many this, and destroyed many of those". But i belive it wouldnt be fixed soon. Even MP has its own problems right now.

yes, it seems so.

some posts related same kind of bugs in 2014 and already mention its a well known bug at that time. ^^

good point is i must not worry about my pc or my account, its a global issue... must just be patient (IF a solution can be found ? thats the bad point... if after such long period it isnt yet fixed, its maybe compromised to be completly or simply just to be).

or devs managed this as a secondary emmergency, idk... may too much to fix and lot of job with BoK to properly fix this one, etc... still possible too, lets hope, we will see ^^

 

but that still raging ! lol

 

beside that,

i really hope new scripted campaigns will come up in further months, since i started in may2017, thats really the only solo xp i enjoyed till now.

except its necessary & usefull for training at start (Solo classic campaigns), i already disliked the way they worked even without these bugs, only way to countdown our skill or growth of skill are about "player statistics", to be compared in MP by others players or in a MP perspective... but no squadron during campaigns, no countdown of AI wingmen losts or their victories, no balancesheet of our squadron and perfs we did together during a long period, linked with theater & battleground events, etc...

thats few immersive and few realist, its really too bad... i dont understand why they chose to change the way solo campaigns worked in 1946, it was pretty basic, but even that was more immersive than this one... good point of these ways could have been used again here, for BoS classic campaigns... :'(

or, really, we must see solo campaigns only as a kind of training to be prepared for MP servers next... but thats restrictive, solo campaigns could have been much more fun and challenging, really.

 

scripted campaigns ar still different of what it was in 1946, typicaly as modded campaigns or modded scenario looklike... its also fun, it has the bad side to be fully linear, but there is a context, and a context u and ur plane are trully involved in... wich is the exact opposite of classic solo campaigns.

... lets hope BoK will give an improved solo campaign, beside upgrated variants from 1943 for Me109/Fw190/etc (and the Spit V or the HS129, ofc), thats trully my first wish for and the real improvment i wait from further BoK...
