Hello

I am a real life commercial pilot and I have just purchased a butt kicker simulator package in the 5 to 200 hz range.

I have been playing with it for two weeks and have a few suggestions to more realistically portray the feel for us with bass shakers. I understand it's a low priority and may be splitting hairs but I think the worst of the issues can be fixed quite easily.

The largest difference between reality and in game comes when:

1. I am taxiing by sticking my head out the window. The base levels are so high it's a disincentive. It gives more vibration than the rumble of the engines, nearby artillery, machine gun and cannon fire, and the rumble of the undercarriage on take off.

2. The rumble of the engine has a little bit too much of an irregular and "grindy" pattern - almost like it's surging a little. Grindy is the best way i can describe it. Mostly noticed in the Daimler Benz. I feel like radials vs inline engines should have a more distinct style of vibration as well.

3. The rumble of the undercarriage vs the rumble of the engine should be a little more distinct. The Il2 seems much more realistic. Perhaps it just seems a bit washed out by the daimler benz.

4. I cannot speak from experience on this one but firing guns and taking damage should maybe be amplified to make up for the extra vibration one would feel in real life.

All in all you guys have done an excellent job with the game. Keep up the great work.
Sorry if I should have posted this elsewhere, like developer assistance.

Cheers
Hobo
