No601_Prangster Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 This is something I posted on our squadron forum but I thought it may be helpful to post it here as well. I'm now playing mostly in VR mode but when testing new missions it's useful to switch to using a monitor. This is easily done by saving two copies of the starup.cfg, one Steup as VR and the other for monitor. Here's how to setup the JSGME mod manager program to easily switch between the two versions. 1. Dowload JSGME 2. Unzip JSGME to 1C Game Studios\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\ 3. Create a new folder within the newly created MODS folder and name it StartupVR. 3. Assuming you're already setup for VR then copy your startup file from 1C Game Studios\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\starup.cfg into the newly created StartupVR folder 1C Game Studios\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\MODS\StartupVR\starup.cfg 4. Next start IL-2 and in Setup - Graphics, disable VR and reset your resolution and other settings to use the monitor. 5. Finally create a shortcut to the JSGME.exe located in 1C Game Studios\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\ on your desktop. Launch JSGME and move the StartupVR to the right panel to enable it and to the left panel to revert to monitor. Your setting is used every time the game starts until you change it. 1
