How do I launch the game without VR?

I love the game in VR, but I don't always want to fly that way.  Is it possible to create a separate shortcut so the game will launch without VR? I tried adding  --force_disable_VR to the exe but it didn't work.

Uncheck VR  Option in your Controls Section should get you back to standard game with Track IR.

What I've done is create a shortcut to the launch cfg so I can just make a quick edit.

My default is on non-vr. If i want vr i launch from steam which asks at the beginning. I know not everyone has the Steam version but if you do that's the easiest way.

Yep, for VR I have to right click the game and select launch with VR. I only play IL2 in VR but I do sometimes watch recorded game play in 4k.
