Thanks for sharing. Are they planning to restore the Brewster Buffalo or are they keeping it as it is?

Thanks ;)

Americans dig that Brewster out of pond where it make crashlanding in Karelia, so they seem own that plane now. Its loan to that museum for some time and then it will go back to USA.

I dont know what they are goin to with it.

I've been there! They had an engine from a Tu95 which was cool.

Thanks! But any Morkö Morane (morane saulnier 406)?  :)

Excuse my ignorance but what is the crate on the last snap? Looks a bit like one of those Italian planes but I can't figure out which one.

I visited same museum a month ago. Had been there earlier as a kid a long time ago so it was about time

IIRC Brewster is going to be restored to the Finnish air force scheme after it is returned to the US. I`m so glad I was able to see it before it goes to the new owners.

No, unfortunately.

Thx a lot. I have never heard about it (no wonder regarding the info from wiki :-) But it looks fine. Elegant.

That's a really great photo of the VL Pyörremyrsky.  Much better than some of the current ones on Wikipedia and elsewhere on the net.

I was planning to visit that museum in near future, one more reason to go  :)

Thanks Jarza. It seems like a nice mixture of Bf 109 and Macchi 202 to me. It's a pity it didn't get chance.

Il s’agit d’un V.L.Pyörremyrsky  (wirlwind) de conception Finlandaise mais jamais produit.

It is a V.L.Pyörremyrsky (Wirlwind) prototype based on a BF109e engine build by and in Finland begun in 1940-1941 and flew in 1945 with good results but to late for the war!

Sorry it toke me so long but I was not home near my beloved books.

Long live IL2.  :salute:

That Pyörremyrsky is as sexy as a Fiat G55 Serie Zero.

F******k me!

That Blenheim is cute.

The 109 didn't have much say in this, huh?
