MS FFB stick has stopped working in game.

I play both BoX & CloD and have different joysticks with different on-off USB ports for each My MS FFB Joystick stopped working in CloD soon after getting a new PC. Track IR still recognizes it , but in game its a no-go.I've tried everything I know to fix this , but have come up empty.Could something in Steam done something to it? What's the easiest way to trouble shoot this and get it going again??? Thanks

Since CloD run through STEAM (by default) in STEAM settings try disable "Generic Gamepad Configuration Support".
