doog442 Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 After every update I get the following message #10005 please update your game. I turn off all anti virus, run the game as administrator in win 10 but no joy, I always end up doing a complete reinstall. Its getting tedious now but appreciate its probably something at my end. All other games run perfectly. Previous contact with admin recommended a fresh install, however with several updates since then and two fresh installs I still have the same issue. Any ideas?
Thad Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 Salutations, Are you starting the game with the launcher.exe? It automatically updates the the game when you run it.
doog442 Posted July 18, 2017 Author Posted July 18, 2017 (edited) Yes many thanks however early solution after nearly throwing my screen out of the window after weeks of frustration. It transpires I had Rivatuner running in the background. I thought the issue was NVIDIA control panel . Of course I accept that all background programmes have to be disabled and this pesky thing was still chugging away - all updated now regards Edited July 18, 2017 by doog442
