I just installed "Touch Controllers this morning-it took a while but they work great with demo ...BUT now when playing BoX I have the blue grid of the play area of the controllers showing up if I make movements outside of the general cockpit area showing around me .How can I get rid of this? Does it require me turning off or disabling the "Touch" utility Is if so how?

A) There are two ways to get rid of the grid:

1) Find the .exe of the Oculus Application and put it to administrator. Then Oculus Home will not start when you start SteamVR and the grid will be gone.

2) In Oculus menu (press menu button on right touch Controller), disable the Guardian System. You need to reenable it each time you want to use it again, and always redraw the borders as well.

B) Then in order to get rid of the round circle down on around your seat (this is from SteamVR), you google "Disable Chaperone in SteamVR" and follow the instructions. Make sure that SteamVR only lists "Small Space" in SteamVR->Settings->Developer-> (scroll down)Room and Tracking, or a secondary grid (Steam's grid!) may appear.

After doing these two steps A) and B), you're set and ready to roll!

Both solutions worked like a charm-no more grid - no more elipse! Thanks

BTW- do I really  need to turn the Guardian system back on to use Touch & its applications in other games???

You might want to do that to avoid smashing into walls and stuff ;)

You don't need the chaperone to get she the touch, but any room space game can get precarious with some boundary line
