Blitzen Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 I have noticed that Oculus seems to offer a way to send movies of your action to friends.....does this work & how? How long of an action does this allow? Will the movie show what I see in the cockpit or what is shown on thw monitor? One of the most visually fun aspects of the game is standing up & walking out on the wing ( if you haven't tried this ,you should -its wonderful & you can do it while flying too.) The problem is that it puts the sreenshot key button ( for that matter the joystick...) So I have been wondering if there is some sort of remote way of taking a screenshot? It would be fun to see that view ,close up on the exterior cockpit shot showing the AI pilot within...
SCG_Fenris_Wolf Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 (edited) Yes, you can create flight recordings via the in-game function and share them with friends. This is currently the only way, there is no other. It then calculates the session in realtime for playback, and you can walk out onto your wing. Be aware though that this can lead to instant nausea, because the aircraft will be in movement. You cannot move while the playback is paused. In-game you can technically walk onto your wing as well, but you will lose control of your plane, not see the instruments, stumble around, etc. xD Edited July 16, 2017 by 1CAG_Fenris_Wolf

Does it require me turning off or disabling the "Touch" utility Is f so how?
SCG_Fenris_Wolf Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 I have answered to you in the other Thread. It takes a bit of patience to click through it, but once set-up, you won't have to do it again. Good luck mate!
Blitzen Posted July 17, 2017 Author Posted July 17, 2017 1CAc FW How about screenshots...is it possible to capture what I see with RIFT? For that matter will my Vids in cockpit be what I am seeing or the more restricted view that can be seen on the monitor?
SCG_Fenris_Wolf Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 Depending on the settings of the Screenshot program, the Monitor or the left eye of VR. But you can replay the stuff on your monitor without VR enabled, and then make Screenshots in monitor resolution
