Wanting to buy Battle of Kuban but will it work with Steam?

I've already got BoS, but it was purchased through Steam.  If I buy BoK, will it work with the Steam version of BoS.  I don't want to have to buy it again.

Yes, since the IL-2 account you log into when you start the game is global.

 

You won't need/have to activate BoK on Steam, when you start the game the content will just be there.

Yup it's pretty nice, I had my bos version switched from non steam to steam. Ease of use, and allows me to support the devs at the same time.

the steam version just lets you download the game, and acts like a launcher.

 

your account is always linked to your website profile.

 

that's why you have to activate your steam key on in your IL-2 account details.

 

so anything purchased on steam or on the website will work as long as you activate the key on the same account that your other content is on.

I tired to activate the steam key and it told me that it wasn't possible to activate this key on steam, so I downloaded the standalone version to play.

Are you saying I could have just opened up my steam game and it would have just been there?
