jjoohhnnyy13 Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 Hello, I'm new here and my English is very limited ... I bought the Saitek x52 joystick and play at normal difficulty so I want to ask if it's normal for the machine to keep bending me in any direction when I'm not doing anything? (Despite the wind and turbulence 0)
unreasonable Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 Hi - welcome to forum with first post! Normal difficulty only makes things like labels come on, and makes it easier to manage your engine. As far as I can see from the realism options, it does not change the flight model which controls where your plane goes through the air. To make it as easy as possible while you learn the basics, select Custom realism and tick all the boxes! By "bending me" I assume you mean something like that the nose tends to drop, or pulls to one side, even when you are holding the stick straight. If so, this is normal: planes have to be trimmed to maintain straight and level flight at a given engine setting. Increase the throttle, for instance, and the nose will usually rise. Many planes pull to one side especially at high power but going slow, as during take off. It is a huge subject - if you are new to flying your best bet is to find a website or book in your own language that explains the basics of how aircraft work. Understanding how to get the best out of the game will then be much easier. Hope this helps and is easy enough to understand.
