hames123 Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 I wanted to collect some ideas and give some suggestions for the new career mode missions. For example, I wanted to pitch for the bomber intercept missions to have more bomber flights, a greater diversity of targets(so the bombers we are intervepting will be going after a train station, possibly with a train unloading supplies to trucks, for example). Also, maybe we only get vectored to the target area 1 in 2 flights, or have the bomber flight spawn at different ranges from the target to make finding them a bit harder. This might mean that they can be intercepted before hitting the target, or you might have to chase them back to their airfield to avenge your friends on the ground that just got hit. The ground attack plane AI needs a rehual, make it so that each plane picks a target that has not been chosen by one of his wingmates, so they actually destroy positions instead of taking out 1 or 2 ground units before getting attacked by fighters due to how long they take to make a loop round and attack again. I would just like to remind the devs that people like diversity in missions, so the range of possible situations occuring must be wide, so maybe in a fighter patrol we might see a bunch of Stukas attacking T-34s and go to intercept them, and the next day there would be clear skies, or a flight of 109s. For a Stuka career, we might get called out to take out Soviet AT guns in the morning, then go again to help defend against a Soviet counterattack by bombing and strafing the Soviet tanks.
