Will any planes cross between BoK and BoS/BoM campaigns?

I can't seem to find any definitive confirmation or negation regarding this topic. Several planes are usable in both Stalingrad and Moscow campaigns and their usage is listed on the official site. None of the planes from those two campaigns has adnotation about being potentially usable in upcoming Kuban campaign, neither Kuban planes have such adnotation regarding earlier campaings. I don't know the exact plane rosters of Soviets and Germans in those battles, so I'm not sure if that's an omission or if indeed no planes should be expected to cross between Kuban and other campaigns.

A very long list. Of the top of my head...

  • Bf109G-2
  • Ju87D-3
  • He111H-6
  • Ju88A-4
  • LaGG-3 Series 29
  • MiG-3 (last active unit was stationed on the Black Sea)
  • La-5 (with M-82F)
  • Yak-1 Series 69
  • Yak-1 Series 127 (its really a BoK aircraft anyways)
  • IL-2 Model 1942
  • Pe-2 Series 87

Probably more...

Lots of BoM planes were added to the original BoS campaigns, so I absolutely expect the new career mode to use appropriate plane sets for the three chapters, regardless if they are BoM/S/K or collectors' aircraft.

Perhaps also the Fw-190 A-3 and IL-2 Mod. 42? And maybe the Bf-110 E-2, though I think it would have been completely replaced with the F and G by the BoK period.

A few of those weren't early enough for BoM.

The german aircraft, that should definitely be in all three campaigns, is the Ju88 A4. I don't know about the russian aircrafts.

But IIRC, the campaigns will be in that way, that you stay in your unit and get a new aircraft when it is the time. So, if you have all three parts of BOX, you can play a campaign from BOM over BOS to BOK.

I thought we were talking about aircraft that can be used in the Kuban battle.

I would say for luftwaffe:

Bom:

Bf-109 e7 for Schlg

Ju-88

Bos:

Bf-109 g2

Ju-87

He-111 h6

Fw-190 a3

Correct, though I'm also asking about potential BoK planes to use in earlier campaigns. Like, for example, will 190A5 or 109G4 be usable in BoS campaign?

For the luftwaffe:

Bf-110 g2 (only last month of Bos)

Hs-129 B2 (for start of Bos)

That's it

Ahh well in that case.... Not very many will.

The Hs129B-2 saw some Stalingrad action.

The Yak-7B certainly did but I'm not sure if the version we're getting is appropriate or not. It's a Series 36 model and I can't find any details on when that series was constructed. It may be a December 1942 aircraft so it could fit into the last couple of months of the Stalingrad campaign or if we stretch things a bit it may be appropriate to just insert it into the rest of the Stalingrad campaign.

I think that's it. The Bf109G-4 and FW190A-5 are later on. Even the FW190A-3 is not technically a Stalingrad aircraft. The same can be said about the Spitfire, P-39, A-20, IL-2 and others.

P-40 and I-16 should also fit for Kuban, if anybody wants to fly them there.
