II./JG27_Rich Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 (edited) This one is a G2-4 they saw so I guess it has a few parts from each. I love the comouflage! There is also a G6 coming along that is running already but needs the wings attached. http://www.meiermotors.com/en/news.html http://www.meiermotors.com/en/news/130-messerschmitt-bf109-g4.html?start=1 Edited December 13, 2013 by II./JG27_Rich 1
II./JG27_Rich Posted December 13, 2013 Author Posted December 13, 2013 (edited) Great link Rich...thanks for posting. Welcome Neun. Maybe one or each could be in "A Higher Call" eh? With those two that make 5 flyable Daimler Benz 109s in Germany G6 FM-BB, G4 Red 7, G10 Black 2, that new G4 and the new G6. Remember the G4 had a wheels up ditch in August but it's fixed already. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CnpC_BcK7xY Edited December 13, 2013 by II./JG27_Rich
II./JG27_Rich Posted December 13, 2013 Author Posted December 13, 2013 (edited) I just had a crazy thought. On Battle of Britain day I bet the Gemans could get permission to land in France, fuel up with their 5 109s and buzz Duxford...Oh what a gas that would be indeed. To do it all by suprise too. II./JG27_Rich Posted December 13, 2013 Author Posted December 13, 2013 Also I'd make sure I took some cameras with me so I could record all of the fist shaking from the RAF guys
DD_Crash Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 I would LOVE one or two to visit Legends next year.
LLv34_Flanker Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 S! I have promised to take my son to Duxford one year to see real planes, not fans swooshing in the sky His favorite is the Fw190 because of the BMW engine and family drives BMW's exclusively, namely 528i and M5
II./JG27_Rich Posted December 21, 2013 Author Posted December 21, 2013 I just found this ... http://www.klassiker-der-luftfahrt.de/geschichte/exklusiv-perfekte-reproduktionen-der-bf-109/495575 A company in Germany is making perfect reproduction 109s as the Flugwerk did with their 190s. All the buyers have to do is supply the engines.
