dburne Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 Yep Monster Tech is pricey, but their quality is superb.

Yeah, one of the things I (accidentally) did was mounting the right-hand floor leg instead in the middle as the post for my joystick. Ended up working out ok, though, since I really didn't need such a giant post right in front of me, and it allows me more room to access my keyboard tray.
1CGS LukeFF Posted May 24, 2018 1CGS Posted May 24, 2018 So, this is the setup I ended up getting. The bolts Monstertech included were too short for my Crosswinds, but the ones from my old rig were plenty long enough to fit. For the GVL224 throttle, I used the CH Pro Throttle plate. As I mentioned earlier, I mistakenly put the short base leg in the middle, but I actually ended up liking this, since I didn't need such a ginormous post in the middle. And, of course, there is the beverage holder with appropriate beverage for an Eastern Front game. 2
JG1_Shadepiece Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 Wow what a great setup. Everytime I see a picture of a GVL throttle it makes me NEED one more and more lol!! I just pulled the trigger on a couple of Virpil desk mounts and I can't wait to get those in.

The GVL throttle is worth every penny, so if you can afford one, I say go for it. 1
dburne Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 Awesome looking setup Luke! < must quite looking at throttle > Neat the way it also bolts the Crosswinds, that is one problem I have as I have no good way of fastening mine down and sometimes they will move around a little.

Yep, with this setup they are solidly fixed in place. They are also positioned a bit higher than before, which I like.

1CGS LukeFF Posted July 7, 2018 1CGS Posted July 7, 2018 So, I have a number of scratches on my mount from moving plates up and down. Is there a safe way to clean those off?
