Update unsuccesfull - corrupted files ?

Hi pilots,

 

the 2.011 update files seems to be corrupted (?). After update I get message like this : application (0xc000007b) could not start properly...

I looked into LOG file of the update, one warning shown :

 

Processing action: Installing redistributable
  executing: \data\updater\Redist.cmd ok
WARNING: post install action 1:execute failed
Main update status: pass

 

Can it be something with the files ?

 

three times I did erase the UPDATE content, antivirus off (normally not necessary before), always the same result: can´t start the game

Dears,

 

I was reading that someone recommends to run   dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64.exe  placed in directory "redist".

It didn´t helped for me.

 

BUT I have seen in this directory one other file :  vc_redist.x64.exe  ,  so I run also this one.

 

And result ?  The game works again !!!!

 

Where could be the problem is not clear for me, before the last patch 2.011 worked everything well for months!

 

So solved so far, by pure accident...
