That would be my dream list

With VR - and a proper sense of size and immensity, my dream includes B-17, B-24, B-29, PBY, or any other big multi-crew plane. The VR crew stations in 111s are super cool as is. To have the big boys would be awe inspiring.

New aircraft are nice, but for me they have to fit the scenario. Either new or already existing. I'm not that fond of US aircraft in general, but i do very much like the P-38. Just an awesome plane in general. But for me it would ad nothing if it didn't came with a Africa/Western or Pacific scenario. 

 

So two lists for me. One with dream aircraft for BOM/BOS/BOK. And in general.

I am quite confused, you give critique about a well known overheating design flaw with a sarcastic non educational tone with no information on how you understand historical  books and papers .

I read quite a lot about the "Grief", mainly about missions it took part in and Pilots flying them, and fact remain the crew disliked and mistrusted this plane. Mistrust will do that if you fly a airplane in combat. The ME 410 was unpopular because of ME 210 difficulties. Trust is a important factor in war

 

If I had it my way, we would have had a lot more early war bombers and fighters before moving on to Kuban. I have listed those planes so many times that I simply do not bother anymore. The developers are interested to sell more , and they know majority would buy faster fighters. Quite uninteresting in my mind.

My dream aircraft is already in the simulator BF110 G-2 it feels like a wonderweapon when you have used to 110E-2 for very long time.

I cant wait to use it on full scale campaing but of course if i live long enough from Moscow to Kuban in Career Mode.

 

I hope they add Iron Man mode to it but if not then i just delete my career after something bad happens like in 1946

 

 

I think not all planes would needed to be flyable so we could have more variety of aircrafts in the air.

Of course flyable is just awesome but i know it takes alot of time and money.

TBH we need bigger VVS bombers. I'm currently reading a book where the pilot was a long range bomber pilot for the VVS and he flew (or is still flying) an IL4 - would be good to get that. Ideally though I'd love more m/e bombers as i stated above ie. B17/B24/B25/B26

A battle in the Romanian section of the Eastern front would have all the planes mentioned above, and hopefully include Romanian ground units.

The Hurricane is ugly?!?! I think it is one of the best looking aircraft that has ever flown. It really is a pity that the Spitfires are the main aircraft shown in the Battle of Britain film, hopefully we have some good air battles between Hurricanes and 110s or 109s in the new movie Dunkirk.

The only clips I've seen are of Spits and Buchons. Why they didn't correct the looks of the Vb and Buchon in post production I don't know.

Well, if we're talking about "dream" aircraft I'd like to see the Hs123 and I-153 for the current maps; and the F4U-4 and N1K2-J/Ki-84 (modeled using good fuel rather than the low quality stuff they were obliged to use) for BoOkinawabananarama.

Apart from the fact that Nolan goes for live action over cgi whenever possible I suspect making the Buchons look like Emils would be an overly expensive and time consuming exercise. Although I'm rivet-counter by nature I'm ok with the Buchons so long as they're painted right... I don't know much about LW schemes but if the Spits are anything to go by then they should be done right. I'm quite impressed by attention to detail on the Spits; No Mk.IXs, no cannons, correct paint schemes, all DH props and external armored windscreens (so far as I could see) and so on which is a million times better than other recent-ish films like Red Tails etc.
What does worry me is the foley with its excessive and inappropriate use of Jericho Trumpets, I hope they're just hamming it up for the trailers and it won't be like that in the film.

It does sound that way because its overlaid over the last 15-20 seconds of some of the trailers growing in volume until the last "tick" and the switch to the logo. More of a dramatic statement than inappropriate use is probably the case. Waiting to see what its like in the movie. Nolan is very very good in my estimation so I'm excited to see this!

Yup.

 

It's not like there are dozens of era correct flyable Spitfire Mk.I aircraft around, and even fewer E series Bf 109s, and it sure beats the daylights out of some crappy CGI renditions of them.

 

And, if my customer's experiences with leasing/renting their classic automobiles to movie studios is of any relevance, if I had a classic WW2 aircraft and a movie company wanted to use it, I'd tell them to piss off.

Oddly, one aircraft I've always had a hankering to try is the Bachem Be-349 Natter.  Getting shot up into the air on rockets, climbing at enormous velocities, and making glide attacks on the heavies.  Then kicking the entire front off the aircraft and making a first-person bailout as the remains of the aircraft descends on its own parachute.
