How do I install missions and campaigns?

Hi,

 

I have just discovered this corner. I have searched for a "How To" regarding the installation of missions and scripted campaigns, but couldn't find it. I used the forums' search and google.

 

Can anyone please link me to the corresponding thread or tell me how to do it?

P.S. I put a folder into /missions/ for "The Defense of Zubtsov". The folder itself shows ingame, but not the mission itself, which I have pasted into the folder.

There have been some changes in the mission formats over time so depending on how long ago a mission was posted it may not be valid anymore.

Also make sure you have the planes and maps required for each mission (im on the mobile site so I can't see if you own BOM for example, or the p40).

You just have to put all the unzipped mission files in that Missions folder as you did.

Yes, I tried to DL that old mission (I own everything of IL-2 except Yak-1b and P-40) and intended to load it into the mission editor, in order to replace P-40 with Spitfire. Unfortunately, the editor returned an error when I loaded in the mission file. Now I understand, the mission format has changed.

 

 

That also explains why all the MP missions and Wings of Liberty are not working anymore since yesterday's update - I guess.

If this patch has broken the missions then im going to have to reupload them all again. Thanks for the heads up.
