I had an idea for the Devs today that may not require a lot of effort but could be huge bunch of fun

Create a huge non-historical campaign using all the missions from BoS, BoM and BoK, and just create a fictional script wrapped around it. The Story could go back and forth in time to suit the missions maybe using 3 or 4 of them in sequence like a film.

It wouldn't really need any new missions to be created just a bit of creative Story telling to knit them all together. I guess if a key part of the story ie. "The happy ever after ending" needed a final mission this would have to be added.

This could create another huge single player experience that although flown before, could feel very different with a new Story?

Which missions are you referring to? The scripted ones in the campaign?

I was thinking of the scripted ones in the campaign but I understand that this would only be open to those that had already purchased BoS, BoM & BoK.

I know that the campaigns are being considered for a revamp, and this may be a future project.

Was just an idea to create a new course of play without an a lot of effort in mission creation

Just to clarify I mean the standard Campaign missions, not the Scripted Campaign Missions I'll work up an example

You don't have to do a fictional story.

I want to do one on the 812 IAP when i have time, but it would be a MP campaign. They fight on the 3 combat area we have or will have (Moscow, Stalingrad, kuban). ;)

You can find many information in that book : Dragons on bird wings

It's a vey good book for a mission builder. Unfortunately, it's the volume 1, and the volume 2 was never published.
