Pay more attention to characters, and try to make them more interesting, try to make us care for them 3rd. You have so much content in the game, yet flying over a war zone you can't see no armies around. This is very bad mission making to say the very least I got this campaign in order to write a review about the game (not only this, I have every expansion except the tanks) and you major problem is that all this content never creates the war feeling that it can and should... not even in single player missions. Please make the final step and let all your hard work and dedication shine in an immersive campaign. This is pretty exactly what I am musing about over and over again. I cant imagine that WW2 pilots were silent all the time, until they came close to the operational area. Didnt they do some chit chat to kill time or even calm their nerves? The career mode made a big step into the right way, to create a virtual pilot, who you can identify with. But scripted campaigns have a much bigger potential to create immersion based on characters. This is very bad mission making to say the very least 1) It's impossible in the current situation, I have neither the time nor the opportunities and the money to do such things. 2) I try, but briefings are of limited size and I can't put full-fledged stories there 3) I don't understand what you mean. In each mission there are dozens of convoys and trains, ground and tank fights, artillery batteries are firing, several groups of planes are performing their tasks, not related to yours. I'm always afraid that I'll overload the missions and they'll work slowly, as the number of active objects is now almost the limit 4

LLv34_Flanker Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 S! Some German biographies mention the radio silence in practise was abysmal among Germans at times, at least in the Eastern front. Many books cite the radio being filled with chatter etc. I would guess that none of the AF´s were totally silent during flight. Sure they adhered to the silence order but there were for sure times chatter took over.
Giovanni_Giorgio Posted September 25, 2018 Posted September 25, 2018 Fabulous work, I have massively enjoyed it.

Juri_JS Posted February 8, 2019 Posted February 8, 2019 (edited) I think the 3.010 update reversed the red/blue front line markings on the map. Blue is now on the Soviet side and Red on the Axis side: Or has it always been this way in Blazing Steppe? Edited February 8, 2019 by Juri_JS
1CGS BlackSix Posted February 8, 2019 Author 1CGS Posted February 8, 2019 Thanks, I know about this problem after last update, we're trying to fix it. The same problem is in the Sea Dragon campaign.

Zeev Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 (edited) Hi, Mission 12 "The Price of Cowardice" - I have defended IL2 planes while they attacked enemy vehicles, shot down one enemy fighter. Then on our way back home we fended enemy attack without any loses on our side, then I have landed and the mission was failed. The mission description does not say about any particular mission objectives. What should I do in order to proceed to the last three missions? Edited January 24, 2020 by Zeev
1CGS BlackSix Posted January 25, 2020 Author 1CGS Posted January 25, 2020 Hi, All 15 missions in the campaign have the same condition for completing - landing at Zaplavnoye airfield.I suppose you could mix up airfields and land together with IL-2s at Leninsk airfield . I just checked this mission - it ends successfully if you landed in Zaplavnoye. 1

I will reply the mission then and let you know if that worked.
1CGS BlackSix Posted January 25, 2020 Author 1CGS Posted January 25, 2020 If you don't want to replay this mission you can take-off, land and wait 5-7 minutes using x8 time compression until you'll see yellow "Mission completed" subtitle. 1

Reggie_Mental Posted April 19, 2020 Posted April 19, 2020 I have these two campaigns, but I cant find the folders in any directory. They appear on the splash screen, and I can play missions on them, but where are the folders? I want to change some of the loadouts wrt to fuel. We are all too heavy with fuel loads for a mission of less than 150km round trip! I found the folders easy for Fortress Stalingrad, but can't see them for the other two scripted missions. Any help appreciated
1CGS BlackSix Posted April 19, 2020 Author 1CGS Posted April 19, 2020 Official campaigns are encrypted, you will not be able to access their folders and change missions. In a real combat situation, fuel tanks have always been refueled completely, regardless of flight range. 1
AirWolves=CutCut Posted June 27, 2020 Posted June 27, 2020 I'm about a 3rd of the way through this campaign and it has been a lot of fun flying it. I just wanted to pop in and express my gratitude to you for creating this. It's been well worth the price I have paid. Thank you for the swell work!!
1CGS BlackSix Posted November 5, 2020 Author 1CGS Posted November 5, 2020 Blazing Steppe improvements in 4.502: - AI Hurricane flights were added in missions 1-7; - changed the logic of landing and added a landing sign "T"; - refuellers and ambulances have been added to transport columns, the number and size of transport and armored columns has been increased; - numerous minor fixes and improvements; 2 8
MurrayCod Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 My Blazing Steppe campaign is generating the spinning blue wheel of death when loading the first mission. I get the following error window: Object Undefined LuaScripts/WorldObjects/Ships/1124/1124-Gun.txt Can anyone point me in the right direction of where to find this file or alternatively how to fix whatever is wrong?
