Irgendjemand Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 https://uploadvr.com/samsung-reveals-4k-exynosvr/ Next year will be the year of VR-Flightsimming with all the new higher res HMDs coming to the market. Cant wait!
dburne Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 I think that is geared more toward the stand alone mobile VR crowd, not necessarily for what we do with flight simming. But yes, much of this newer technology will undoubtedly be implemented in the next generation of high end PC based VR devices. Next generation will be very exciting for sure with eye tracking, foveated rendering , higher resolution and hopefully larger FOV.

coconut Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 I hope there is no dependence on being stand-alone for the high resolution. I mean, I hope cables that are a few meters long and capable of sending 4K frames at 60/90Hz exist.
