Hi All,

 

I have just finished running up my new IL-2 server.

Currently running a batch of Coconut's fantastic missions and I have missions in development by members on the MagzTV Discord.

 

I am on the hunt for new missions to add to the rotation and the preference is to have missions with active AI vehicles to add to the experience.

If you think you have a mission that might be suitable for the server I am more than happy to take a look and add it to the rotation if I think its a good mission.

 

Missions with variable weather would be much appreciated, night missions would be amazing.

 

Any questions I am happy to try answer below.

Have been on your server the last few nights and just wanted to thank you for hosting a CO-OP friendly server.  Having AI fighters to fight against is a big plus for those of us that just want to fly with friends.

I also run a Australian server ASCU, I have it locked as its generally just COOP missions against AI for the guys I play with, we all use VR in IL2 so have some settings that most public servers disable, ill get them to jump on yours and give it a whirl next week to see if it suits us.

yeah gave it a quick go lastnight..

seems nice and stable, missions appeared ok and aaa/flak was done very well.
i was only messing around in 88 before bed so i never saw AI planes.

I did 3 missions...got killed on all of them (1 x JU88, 1 x BF110, 1 x JU87). JU88 and BF110 were against the shipping. First mission in a JU87 with flak guns hunting vehicle convoys...hit trees = dead. On server chang, I dive bombed with the JU88 on the #2 ship (of 4), but overflew the #1 ship which had murderous AAA = dead. Jumped into a 110 to finish them off, just started my dive from about 2000m on the 4th ship when it opened up with AAA...oh look, there goes my wing (again...i think its made of balsa wood). 

 

The accuracy and volume of ingame AAA makes A2G missions almost impossible to survive.

not really meant to attack it with single pilot and in the 88 n 110 attack should obviously be at 600-700kph

but really just need 2-3 people attacking at same time from different angles and its ok..

All good mate. Most of my time online is spent as a lone wolf so i try to get out 2-3 missions before i have to bolt. I will try and frequent the Aussie server more though.

Thanks for the good reports guys Thank Coconut for the missions, im still having people work on missions for me as well but I did make some minor modfications of two of his maps to change the weather and time of day.

I have replied, also note that with the server rename it will be rebranded and a new thread will be started afresh as a lot has changed (for the better in my opinion  )
