Sooo, the story behind this video is that I used to play a lot of IL2 back in the days of IL2 1946, but was never a real sim-pilot back then.  I flew around and shot at unarmed bombers just to watch their wings peel off.  As I grew up, I fell madly in love with the sim genre, and only recently did I realize IL2 was still a very much alive series... so I took the dive back in, and began trying to learn how to dogfight.  Having much flying experience, that part came easy -- but fighting in the skies was not something I understood right away.

 

And so with that, I made a cinematic documentation of my journey.  My one goal - learn to shoot down a 109 in a Mig.  I dont know if thats easy, but I will say one thing -- I still am not sure how to win a turning fight with those things!  Every day I make progress, and hopefully this video is a good example of that.  If not, well I at least hope you guys like it.

Thanks guys.  Being my first IL2 video some of the camera work was tricky to get down, but I am eager to improve.
