Joystick as Menu Controller

Hello, a question for the experts. My VR setup is not near a keyboard or mouse. Is there a way to configure the Joystick (HOTAS) to operate the menus or cursor (so I could select missions or change settings without being infront of the keyboard)?

Some  throttles, eg. Saitek X-5x, CH, Tm can have their "thumbstick" programmed trough their software to act as mouse - is what you have.

 

But and a wireless mouse?

yes get a very long usb extension cord or a wireless mouse;)
