Ryu4fly Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 For the first time I got pedals and actually do not have any clue how to properly use them other than taxi and e takoff.. was wondering if anyone could give me a little bit of a tutorial or some kind of info that I could fully understand on how to properly use the pedals?

1PL-Husar-1Esk Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Look up for coordinating turns. Just try step on the ball to make it center.
US63_SpadLivesMatter Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 How centered does the ball need to be? When I make turns it is mostly center; could maybe be improved just a tad- but I sometimes overcompensate when trying to get it that last bit centered. Normally it hardly drifts very far from center at all.

There are level turns, banking turns, and turns that one can make whilst changing altitude either ascending or descending in altitude. Also if you are ground pounding you may want to use rudder in a turn so as to be able to keep your target in sight although with my hat look setup it is rather futile at this point in time as I generally loose sight regardless )). Might be easier with head tracking be it VR or other but in turn I will bank with the inside wing down and use my rudder to keep the plane at altitude whilst I look at what's on the ground. BTW, at the moment I am using car peddles for my rudder setup which is not the best but they work and with sensitivity at 60% One day will purchase something better and I remember my days in Il2 FB the old serial port CH Rudder Peddles helped considerably in combat.
