Pan view with gamepad thumbstick

I want to pan say every 45 degrees up/down/left/right with the right analog stick without it returning to center like I would with a hat switch.

 

Any idea how to do this?

The pan view system is done to be operated with digital input - key press or joy buttons (HAT) and you want operate with analog (axis) input, with spring to return to center, so the value of axis always return to 0, don't stay in position...

 

Do a test with Joy2Key, set this analog sick axis press keyboard keys (the same pre-mapped for pan), I think that in this way the camera POV will not return to center.
