Track IR and views

My Track IR defaults to the rear of the seat, previously it was the gunsight, as it is with RoF.

I cant seem to reassign the centre view. When I manually centre the view with the head movement keys, then F10 to save then F9 to reengage TrackIR its not centred so numpad 8 to centre and it defaults to the seat back again. Any advice?

I recommend using another key to center within TrackIR.  The keys on the Numpad are used for default Pilot Head Controls, I wouldn't use the Numpad keys in game except as intended. They come in handy even with TrackIR.

 

To center TrackIR:  With TrackIR running hit Pause, or take off hat and set aside out of view.  Press Numpad 5 to center view and F10 to save.  Unpause TrackIR, or put hat back on, and press Center again.  You should be good to go.  You can then change the view to personalize it per the manual.

Why need to pause Trackir? I never pause when im centering and it works fine. I have centering button in Warthog sticks "pinkie trigger" and its quite handy.

You only need to Pause when setting up the view (to save with F10), after that you only use the Center.

Are you properly set for Track Clip Pro, or the hat thingy?

Use F1 to center your TIR........... it's the player cockpit view by default............... numpad 5 is the command for Pilot_Head_Centred............. I have use F1 in TIR since day one when i got TIR......
