HUD with radio messages only?

Is it possible to have only radio subtitles displayed? I prefer to fly without any HUD elements but I struggle to understand what my German "brothers in arms" say over the radio. Every sentence sound the same to me .

The voice in German is VERY unclear. I remember that in CLOD I could hear the message without any problem: Vitamine!

If you leave HUD on, disable Instruments and 'teckchato' - probable will don't see labels over planes, but will have only messages on screen.

 

Is the way I use (hate "Christmas Tree" on screen) but since make time I fly anything than briefly QM's with all off - maybe options has changed due VR.

GTX1080 pull pretty solid 90fps without hud on correct settings.

Right now unfortunately you have to put up with the heavy-handed techno-chat in order to see subtitle messages.

I would like to see this changed. Not only would I like the ability to eliminate the techno-chat, but I'd like to see the techno-chat itself

implemented a bit differently...no box around the type for starters, as well as be able to eliminate some of the more unnecessary 'noob assist' messages.

Anyway, I totally agree with most of the above. I don't mind the radio chatter, but the subtitles can be annoying.

I haven't had much time to play with the sim outside of the mission editor in quite some time.

Technochat should be a server configurable difficulty option, along with the HUD compass.

Is not it what Daisy_Blossom meant? HUD in this game has terrible impact on FPS, so separating radio messages box from the rest of the HUD elements would be very useful for VR users. Or maybe just optimise the game properly, but I might be asking for too much.

Is there any way to decrease the volume of the radio voices?

I enjoy using a certain sound volume that works as a good sound level for the engine sounds, wind sounds and weapon sounds, but the shrill voices over the radio are too loud making me turn down the volume and compromise all of the other sounds.

Is there any way to adjust the volume of the radio voices without turning down the volume of everything else?
