Sky_Wolf Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 I can't figure out what controls I need to use to increase pitch/RPM in the Pe-2. All other controls work. Can anyone provide information? Thanks.
1CGS LukeFF Posted June 6, 2017 1CGS Posted June 6, 2017 It's the propellers: increase pitch and decrease pitch commands. Note that in the Series 35 the rate of RPM change is very slow.
Sky_Wolf Posted June 6, 2017 Author Posted June 6, 2017 Ok, I get it now. But it is unexpected to have two slots in the keybind settings for increasing and decreasing values. All other controls that incrementally increase and decrease values are given one slot (oil rad, water rad, RPM, etc.).

The thing is that all other settings as these can be bound to an axis (because thats how they worked IRL) But Pe-2s35 used buttons for RPM setting.
Sky_Wolf Posted June 7, 2017 Author Posted June 7, 2017 Nevermind then. If the controls are faithful to reality then I'm happy with them.
Y29.Layin_Scunion Posted June 7, 2017 Posted June 7, 2017 Yes it is accurate. It's a small lever that would sit below your left arm while in the cockpit. It has to be held forward to increase RPM, held backward to decrease RPM and is center neutral. It is not an axis that has gradual control with it's movement which is typical to every other aircraft in game.
