Il-2 -43 Gunner canopy

Would there be any chance in a later update to add the option of removing the gunner's hinged canopy on the Model 43 Il-2 to give a better field of view?

It would be a good addition, alongside removing the canopies of the Soviet fighters as it was done irl, both for guaranteed bail out and better view. Of course with the proper speed penalty (a bit less than having the canopy open).
