Would there be any chance in a later update to add the option of removing the gunners hinged canopy on the Model 43 Il-2 to give the gunner better visibilty?

You'd do better to post this in the suggestions subforum: https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/forum/12-suggestions/ And include evidence that it was regularly done in real life. I'd have thought it would be relatively simple to add as an option, so the developers might at least consider it.
