Single player/campain question

Almost 100 hours into BOM-BOS-BOK, I'm almost at level 10. What happens after level 10? I went into level 10 last night, and the level went back to level 1, and in campaign mode, no airfields showed up on maps. Rebooted, then level went back to almost 10 [19750].
So , after level 10, what can I expect? "Moon"

A long, slow crawl towards lvl 11.

 

The purpose of the levels was to ease people into the campaign mode by making the missions generated progressively harder and more populated as they gained in level. That is literally the only thing the levels do.

Actually I think they may have eased off somewhat. I am currently halfway between level 14 and 15. I stopped using the campaign some time ago because it became almost impossible to survive. However, I have done a half dozen or so in the Ju52 and Ju88 recently and got back home in all of them?????

I'm on 11... or 12... It really doesn't matter any more at that point.

I think the increase in difficulty was mostapparent with the original BoS campaign (the winter part).

 

The other two campaigns have shown only occasional cruel odds for me.

I was flying the campaign a lot and am in level 18. The last thing I remember, that made it harder to come back, was a second (and third?) enemy flight at the action point, that made it necessary to do your job and return very fast to your base.

It very much depends, how hard it is, on the question, which aircraft you fly. Take the Bf109 F4 and you are almost safe, as you can run away, when ever necessary.

Actually this was playing the Original Winter BoS. It was the BoM one where my chances of survival became almost non existent.

I think, that the difficulty increase was mostapparent in BOS winter campaign is simply, because it was the first campaign we got and we all started there.
