NETSCAPE Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 (edited) So I made a quick test. Player in a plane. Friendly half track set to spotter, radius 5000m, beacon = 1. Enemy vehicles and enemy gun about 2000m away, very clear LOS. When I get near the spotter, he said "hey there buddy here is the weather, continue with your mission" and shot a flare when i got near via 'onspottingstarted' to flare...nice. But that's it. In quick mission mode they will say "enemy ____ to the northwest, 3000m" or something of that nature. My dude doesn't do anything. Yes it "works" - I see the enemy on my map. I rather noicon all the enemies in the area and have the player find targets based on radio chatter though. I mean I could just use text to give specific intel like "enemy positions in the tree line to the northeast!" - but I'm afraid player will not like text popping up on the screen all the time...
