Loudmax Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Ok I'll let the cat out of the bag, I am in no way an expert at this game at all - I've only played it for a very short time (a short lived mp sortie in a 109). Any 'experience' I have with flight sims comes from playing 1946 in the past, Rise of Flight and *shudder* War Thunder. But I'd really like to get into this game more, especially with the Kuban and Pacific expansions coming up - and I have a feeling it'll be a lot more fun if my wingman isnt me, myself and I! So yeah, if anyone or any squadron around NZ (or Australia) is willing to take a newbie pilot under their wing (sorry for the pun ) that'd be awesome! Have a good one, cheers 1
TheArcher Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Hey there AceBitHD! Check out my post for the FFS unit I run. Might be a good step for you if you're just getting into MP and still sorting out whether or not the uber-serious stuff is for you. I do training all the time and we have time coverage in a few different countries already. I think our UK/EU pilots will match your time zone pretty well. Anyway, if that sounds like your kind of group, shoot me a PM and we'll get you on comms and see if we all mesh together well. Cheers! -WC 1
Flitgun Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 Hi AceBitHD. I fly in the Wings of Liberty server most evenings, when I am not shift working, from about 7.30pm (NZ time). Please do jump into Teamspeak (Official Teamspeak server for BoS) and join whatever channel I am in (usually allied): Server IP: 8.3.5.133:9407 Password: bos2014 I'm pretty much always flying on the Russian team. It's not so much a preference, but we need more Russian aircraft pilots in the game at the moment, not German ones. I agree, it is much more fun flying with others, so I'd love to see you join me and the few others I occasionally meet up with at around about that time. It's a bloody difficult timezone to find fellow flyers so I'll just try and be persistent and regular at that time and hopefully a group of us will gell. Actually, for the first time (in my experience) last night there was about 4 or 5 of us in Teamspeak (I was amazed). The best we can hope for is a regular group of Aussies and Kiwis plus the other very few in our timezone - which is certainly not UK, EU or US. 1
Guest deleted@83466 Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 (edited) My God, I'm American, and I've actually been on comms with 2 of you Antipodeans at one time before. To have 4 or 5 of you stupid bastards on at once might cause someone to have an aneurism. Edited May 29, 2017 by Iceworm
Loudmax Posted May 29, 2017 Author Posted May 29, 2017 Thanks for the replies guys, I appreciate it! I'll be sure to hop on Flitgun - it'd be great to get a group of us together like you say. Get used to it Iceworm 1

It's why we have our own separate timezone, didn't you know, all to ourselves almost ...other than a couple of Pacific Islands. 2
Wraithzlt Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Hi guys, Im from NZ too and i'm looking for people to fly with also. If you see me on please send a message and i will join you on the teamspeak chanel listed above. I usually fly about 7.30-10pm NZ time. Also feel free to add me on Steam- Wraith<ZLT>
Flitgun Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Hi Wraith Just jump on into that Teamspeak channel as mentioned above. It's not easy to see who is in game sometimes, if there is more than 15 on. I often miss the in game messages anyway. Enjoy the peace, nothingness, emptiness and loneliness if there is nobody there and hopefully you are still there when I get around to joining, or vice versa or some of the other good blokes who frequent the channel. You might as well get acquainted. I'll be back on in a couple of days - work dictates.
Wraithzlt Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Ok thanks Flitgun. Hope to speak with you on there!
