Hello all, this is perhaps slightly outside the usual topics for this forum, but it seems the best place to ask. My TrackIR5 sensor seems to have given up the ghost after 5 or 6 years of faithful service (a shame as I always hoped to keep using it till I'm in a position to make the leap to VR, and I was wondering if any of you who have made the leap to VR have an old TrackIR 5 sensor that they would be willing to part with for a reduced price if I'm unable to repair or have someone repair my current one. While I love the idea of VR (and my trial of it in Il-2 was fantastic) it's unfeasible for me to make the jump over to VR as A. I would need to make upgrades to my machine to support it, B. I would like to give VR some more time to develop and improve first C. seeing as I only just graduated college and need to make a start of my life, I can't really justify that much expenditure, and would rather not spend the $150 dollars for a new sensor if I can fix or more cheaply replace this devise. Would any of you who have moved on to VR already, and still have their old Track IR be willing to negotiate the sale of their old device? Thanks a ton.

I still use my track ir in other games (arma) as it doesnt yet support VR. The minute it does you're welcome to mine.

I know this doesnt help you now but for me VR is the way forward even if it didnt progress

if you are still interested I can sell you my trackIR 5 with clip accessory. The clip has a little defect that I repair with strap. Look image:

The price will be 50$ plus shipping from Zaragoza (Spain). Or just 50$ if you came to my home (or take care of the courier to my home).

Send me a PM if interested.

Iam anticipating getting into VR in the near future & have a simple question:can I easily reconnect TrackIR in games like CloD tat don't support VR (yet?)

Sure just leave it hooked up , no problem. While I no longer use mine, it is still connected to my PC and ready to go at a moments notice.

Same here, I only use TrackIR for ArmA now.   I only fly BoX and DCS with VR.  Never going back to TrackIR for those sims.
