Something going on?

Last few nights it seems WOL is wacked... showing players "-1/84" and I can't join. Very few players on any other servers. If WOL isn't working why didn't people just go to another server?

 

Are others seeing the same thing? Do I have some connection / settings glitch?

people are migrating to either RE+ or TEN (Eagles Nest).

 

In the case of RE+ the lack of GPS I think discourages a lot of people.  I understand that, after a hard day of work I don't want to bust my ass navigating, I just want to run a fun mission with my squad.  We save the hardcore stuff for TAW or RE+.

 

As for The Eagles Nest, it's a good server but once it hits about 30 players, lag becomes an issue.  I get a 50ish ping to that server but once it hits that magical number it starts to lag.  For those who could play lag free, the short mission times are discouraging.  On the missions that are longer there are only a couple of objectives.  It's just, kinda... boring? 

 

I don't know, that is just what I would think as these are the issues I have with The Eagles Nest, but they really don't bother me enough to not fly on the server.  The biggest detractor is definitely the lag though.  It prevents the server from really getting population.  Damn shame too, we might be able to get the North American community going at night.

The Eagles Nest seems to be oriented more towards quick action and dogfighting, with map icons, so it doesn't really seem to be a substitute for WoL at the present time.  Hopefully WoL resolves whatever issue they are having.

When you see -1 in server list it means there is a problem with the dedicated server loading the mission so it's impossible to join.
