New VR headset from Vive

Nothing of interest for simmers, is it? There's a lot of effort being put in headset development that is of little use to us. That worries me a bit. Even in VR we are a niche market

Your right, but we are such a small market I think these things actually do help us. The entry level hmd's will get more people to actually try VR, rather than not even bother because of the associated price tag. Much like a non-flightsimmer drawn to dcs and jets, might later try il2 as well. Even if it didn't sparkle much interest at first.

 

It's a very wise strategy by htc.

It seems so, but it might have an external cable connection? At least we can hope.
