The last two patches have left Steam installed version of the game with stuttering and low FPS but...

...my other ( original)version of the install found in C:/ProgramFiles(x86)/ 1CGame Studios appears to be largely unaffected.I would have thought it might be just the opposite,Can someone tell me what's going on & how I might fix the Steam version???

James, you run an Nvidia graphics card don't you?  Re-download Nvidia graphics drivers for your card and re-install these drivers.

 

Then re-start your pc.

This is what worked: disabling Startup.config in Data folder,& having it re-install via Steam & doing a re-set on startup settings.Stuttering & slow FPS has apparentlu disappeared! YAY!
