Hey guys does anyone know if the default trim settings on spawn are the historical take-off settings as per aircraft manuals or what mode of flight they are set for?

I think they are set for cruising flight, rather than takeoff.

When I fly 109s, I make a different experience. When I start BOX, in the first 109 mission, I always start with the trim setting of '-2', in the following missions I always start with the trim setting, I stopped the mission before, so when I land, I always trim back to '0', when I taxi to my parking position, so I don't start the next mission with '-5' or so.

I just follow the instructions for take off and landing  trim settings in the aircraft specification info (109's and 190's)

Very good, cheers gents. I was wondering why some of the planes (mainly the VVS airframes) don't seem to take-off on these trim settings as well as they could.

Cruise settings have got to be somewhere around 50% throttle with reduced RPM I suppose.

They put it there? Are there trimm setting for take off for vvs too?

Any way if someone choose to spawn in midair he should have different trimm settings from one who spawned parked .

I always hit the "trimmers reset" button on my controller if taking off, and then manually set the recommended trim for takeoff.

The only trim info I have found is for the 109's and 190's, oh, and the Auntie Ju... I don't think the devs have included any of the other planes, sadly!
