I've been working on a quick guide for my own usage and I was thinking about releasing it.

I've been adding the needed polish and I've figured out two ways to format it and was wondering what people would prefer.

The idea of a quick guide is two pages per planes. One with gauges and the 2nd with procedures and instructions. The main idea is it will be easily printable and short. Like a short version of Chucks guide.

Before I continue working on it what style of gauges page do your guys prefer?

Open Style

Box Style

Both of these styles work okay even on crappy printers.

Dose any one have a preference for either style?

Thanks!

I like the box style. Great work on your part to put this together!

I think that the box style is the best.

Just one graphics suggestion: line up either the inner edge or the outer edge of the boxes with each other. E.g., if you choose inner edge, line up the top edge of the top boxes, bottom edge of the bottom boxes, right edge of the right-side boxes, and left edge of the left-side boxes. Alignment is a well-known graphics design principle that helps your graphic look more attractive.

Thanks for your work on this.

Salutations,

I prefer the box style because one can better see the actual gauges.

The two with question marks I think are air pressure, single instrument, and brake pressure, double instrument, left and right. It´s a similar brake system as on i.e. Soitfire and Hurrycane.

By the way, I like the boxed type.

Thanks for the feed back! Box style it is then.

JimTM hmm good point. I'll see what I can do.

FlyingH thanks for the info on the few missing gauges. I'll add that in.

That's fantastic, Myscion!

I started putting a table together, but didn't complete it, showing:

- engine torque (to the left/port or right/starboard)

- lockable tail wheel (yes/no)

- flaps on take-off (up/down - degrees/%)

- flaps on landing (up/down - degrees/%)
