Beazil Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Cause a crash, and auto-reboot when enabled together. Seems to not matter whether it is just plain old multi-screen or nvidia surround enabled. I have to run single monitor to get VR to work. Apologies if this is in the wrong section, and please feel free to move it to the right one, dear mods. Interesting to report further though - I get in excess of 140 fps across a triple monitor 1080's in ultra and all bells and whistles on, and usually around 40-60 in fights with the vive with the same settings. Thanks for listening.
OrLoK Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 I too run a triple screen setup but I don't have any issues like the ones you have. Can you provide full system specs/os etc?
Beazil Posted May 11, 2017 Author Posted May 11, 2017 (edited) Interesting. I'm running a 1070 on a four core i7 running at 4ghz. It's a 2600k on a p8p67 deluxe mb. Windows 10, Nvidia surround, 32 gigs ram, Htc vive. I have to disable surround to run vr without it crashing and rebooting the system. I cannot end the program, it simply locks up the whole works and eventually reboots itself. No issue at all when running single screen. Now it WILL run in multi screen mode, while in surround and run vr, but the performance is horrible-as if I'm running some compiling software in the background or something. I will experiment but that has been my experience so far. If I try to run say 640x480 it crashes. Thanks Orlok. Edited May 11, 2017 by Beazil
