TP_Silk Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 (edited) Has anyone got a problem displaying dates and times in missions after the Creators Update in Windows 10? If so, is there a known fix? Edited May 9, 2017 by TP_Silk
TP_Silk Posted May 9, 2017 Author Posted May 9, 2017 Thanks Jim. I've rolled back as I can't be having that nonsense when mission building. It also borked my head tracking slightly, but that's now back to normal too (or appears to be)
[DBS]Tx_Tip Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Haven't updated to Windows 10 Creator myself but intend to at some point. Has this been turned in? Is there a workaround?
TP_Silk Posted May 18, 2017 Author Posted May 18, 2017 No idea mate. I haven't tried again since and won't until I hear that it's fixed.
coconut Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Today's patch (game) did not fix it, problem is still there. Possible work-around is to edit the mission file by hand in a text editor to set the date. I haven't tried, but my mission-generating scripts still work.
[DBS]Tx_Tip Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Okay. Thanks for the replies gents... I thought about text-editing the mission file but how would that change the .msnbin for transfer to the server? Reloading the mission in the ME to sync with the .msnbin might well have the problem reoccur. As it is apparently sporadic. I'm unaware of a app/program that can just edit the .msnbin reliably. Anyway now we're getting into the weeds. Personally just going to hold off on the Creators thing. Thanks again.
